The 2019 ACT-W National Conference is an engaging 2 day event where talented women and supporters can build skills, grow their community, and accelerate their career path by connecting with companies that truly fit them best, as well as other leaders and peers.
The conference includes speaking sessions, hands-on workshops, formal training sessions, networking opportunities, a career/exhibit fair, and so much more!
Our conference thrives solely on the passion and dedication of our volunteers and that is where we need your help. We are looking to fill the positions listed below and let us know if you have any questions!

What is the difference between a Manager and a Lead? A Committee Manager is someone who can offer sustained time to plan, coordinate, and delegate the tasks of their area to their team members, while a Lead is just like a Manager, but works within the Manager’s team to execute on a specific area.

Mission Statement
ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women and non-binary people in the technology workforce and increasing the number of people of marginalized genders pursuing technology-based careers.
Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
