The EPIC Book Drive runs throughout the month of April at various locations in Colorado Springs. Last year, there were thousands of books donated that we were able to distribute to local non-profits to give to their young clients.
We need 5-6 volunteers who can be availble for the following tasks, ideally during business hours:
- During the month of April: be available to pick-up books if boxes become filled
- On May 1st: pick-up all the books at various locations and deliver to predetermined location (PPUW or other organization)
- On May 2nd: Sort all books according to grade/age level and distribute books to partner agencies if needed
This book drive makes a huge impact on our community! It is extremely important for children to be able to read at home, but buying books is unaffordable for many families.
