The Adult Education VISTA will build the capacity of OCTC SkillTrain by networking with local partners to increase student recruitment, developing off-site partnerships for adult basic education classes, and coordinating and developing a newly begun volunteer program. As a result of the VISTA member’s service, OCTC SkillTrain will alleviate poverty by increasing the capacity of and participation in SkillTrain, which provides adult basic education instruction (GED, college prep, and ESL), helping adults acquire the skills that they need to obtain higher-skilled employment in sustainable jobs.

There are 2 A*C positions opening -- one for Daviess County and one for Ohio/McLean Counties.
