Become a Hospice Volunteer Today!

Volunteers are happiness knocking at the door. Each volunteer is carefully screened and trained in accordance with Medicare Requirements. Our volunteers participate as a full member of the professional Interdisciplinary Team caring for our patients and families.

Volunteers are "non-medical companions". This means they cannot assist in feeding, personal care, medications or transfer/transport.

Volunteers are great companions who can share a story, enjoy a good piece of music or quietly hold a hand. Whether it is a friendly visit for companionship and socialization, assistance with memory support, emotional support or simply a quiet presence, our volunteers are ready to help. They are a friend with no agenda other than improving the quality of life for those they visit.

Volunteer assignments are based on availability. There is no minimum number of hours to complete. Assignments are close to home or work. Training is free.

If this sounds like the opportunity you are looking for - contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
