ChickTech was founded in 2012 to engage women of all ages in the technology industry while working to create a better technology culture for all. We build communities, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in a rapidly growing industry. ChickTech has made a direct impact on tens of thousands of participants, including girls, women, and men. We are dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers.
We are looking for a partnerships and sponsorships lead. You would help our chapter build partnerships with companies as well as other organizations/nonprofits and individuals in the bay area. If you are passionate about our mission and building relationships, this role is for you!
Responsibilities include:
- Leading chapter partnerships and sponsorships
- Identifying companies, organizations, and individuals to help us further our mission
- Finding sponsors for our events - we are able to provide free technical workshops for high school girls due to generous sponsorships and donations we receive
- Taking ownership
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated individual who is passionate about our mission
- Previous leadership experience
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Proven capacity to develop relationships, such as sales, partnerships, or business development
- Experience working with nonprofits and/or the tech field is a huge plus!

Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
