The Rare Genomics Institute (RG) is an international non-profit which connects rare disease patients to cutting-edge genomic solutions for diagnosis and treatment. RG partners sequencing sites to provide our patients with genome sequencing services.

We are looking for new mobile marketing specialist who would like to volunteer and collaborate and support the Rare genomics Mobile Platform Digital transformation projects.

We are in the process of finalizing the development of a PCP Patient- centric Mobile App, a Social Network App, a Donors engagement App, and Clinicians and Researchers App. Now is the right time to join our team and bring hope to rare genetic conditions patients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, highly collaborative, Mobile go-to-market marketing specialist to bring the new Rare Genomics Mobile products to the market.

In this role, you will be reporting to the (Mapp) Mobile Platform Digital transformation Lead, as well as provide updates on the project advances to the Marketing & Communication group.

Responsibilities:

  • You will set the mobile app product positioning and messaging for the Mobile Platform (push-notifications)

  • Build product launch content development and implementation

  • Develop user-engagement content and drive feature engagement through ongoing Mobile marketing campaigns leveraging the multi-channel digital marketing platforms

  • Prepare the Mobile App The go-to-Market plan content development and execution.

  • Collaborate with creative resources including designers and copywriters for content development

  • Review editorial requirements to verify if the new content is consistent with our Rare genomics brand voice, style and tone

  • Plan the monthly editorial calendar.

  • Present a monthly Mobile App performance report

  • Focus on the delivery of results in the form of increased reach, high mobile app utilization and users engagement.

Description

Rare Genomics Institute (RGI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping rare disease
patients find a diagnosis, treatment, and pathway to a cure. Through personalized research
projects, RGI provides access to world leading medical institutions and scientists to conduct
genomic sequencing, coordinates with clinicians and counselors to interpret findings, and offers an
online crowd-funding platform to deliver financial solutions. RGI also supports rare disease
advocacy by fostering an online community of rare disease patients and supporting rare disease
research through a yearly grant competition.

Since being founded in 2011, RGI has completed over 300 genetic sequencing and analysis
projects, assisted patients fund over $3.5 million worth of genomic sequencing, discovered 8
unique genetic mutations in-house, given over $2 million dollars in grants to researchers on rare
disease, and developed an online community with over 10,000 rare disease members.
Through volunteers, RGI is able to slowly push science and health care forward to meet the needs
