Paid Math and/or Literacy tutor needed for 5th graders in Longmont

We are in search for a qualified individual to join our wonderful organization! Your role would be to tutor math and/or literacy to 5th grade Dreamers at Rocky Mountain Elementary School in Longmont. You would be working with a small group of 4 Dreamers at a time and plan your own lessons for the group.

Experience tutoring math and/or literacy is required.

Pay is $15/hr or DOE.

Program Volunteer Commitment: At least one day each week during the spring semester, with possibility of continuation.

Time: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 4:30pm-5:30pm

Responsibilities: Work with students in small groups on their math and/or literacy skills.

Ideal Tutor: Someone who has experience working with youth and is flexible, energetic, patient, and thrives in a hands-on environment that can be characterized as having a "buzz of productivity." Experience teaching or tutoring math and/or literacy, required. Understanding math and/or literacy assessments, preferred. Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred.
