Help manage invasive/noxious weeds in our city parks. For this project we're specifically targeting honeysuckle. Bush Honeysuckle are not native to America. Here they have no natural controls. They leaf out early, grow fast, spread fast, and form dense thickets that crowd out native forest plants challenging the natural plant and animal habitat of our woods. We're seeking volunteers to assist with cutting, treating, and removing this invasive plant. Those 15 and younger are welcome, we just ask for a guardian of 18+ to be with them.
