About

Have time on a weekday to support a local hospice team in office?
We are looking for a receptionist/front desk volunteer to help answer and triage incoming phone calls at our Northgate office front desk, as well as assist with administrative tasks.

Come make a difference, and help to improve the lives of terminally ill hospice patients in the King County area by joining our Seattle team!

Volunteers are an essential part of our dynamic interdisciplinary hospice team (of nurses, doctors, spiritual care providers, social workers and home health aides). Our Administrative Volunteers assist our Northgate Office staff, clinical team and hospice patients and families by tending to ongoing administrative duties and projects.

We provide free extensive training and ongoing education for our volunteers. We value and nurture our volunteers as essential members of our interdisciplinary team. We seek a diverse volunteer team that reflects our multicultural community. Volunteer trainings occur in our office in the Northgate area. Our patients and families are located throughout King County.


Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years of age, pass a background check, interview, fingerprinting, TB test, orientation training (which takes approximately 18-22 hours over the course of 2 weeks) and orientation competency test.
