The Love Story Mission:

Our mission is to inspire we, who have loved and lost, to transform our pain into creative expression. Our mission is to take away the stigma of depression and prevent suicide for those who have loved and lost.

WHY IN THE WORLD ARE WE DOING THIS?

Suicide Facts:

1. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for 24 to 35-year-olds and the 3rd leading cause of death for 15 to 24-year-olds.

2. A major symptom of love loss is depression.

3. Depression is the leading cause of suicide and suicide attempts

The Love Story is non-profit media publisher that believes authentic, raw, and vulnerable storytelling can inspire and empower those who are still coping with the challenges of love loss to transform one’s loss into creative expression.

WHO ARE YOU?:

• You have a knack for community outreach and awareness.

• You believe that

• You are searching for inspiration and look forward to connecting with someone who has gone through loss.

We are still a pretty young organization that depends on volunteers who genuinely have a desire to contribute to suicide prevention and depression destigmatization.

   Our first event took place on Friday February 3rd 2017 and was an overall success. Our second event is titled, The Butterfly Effect. It will deal with themes such as childhood sexual abuse, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
