The Recording Secretary for the Friends of Spy Pond Park takes minutes at meetings held every other month on Zoom, Sundays 7-9 pm., the next one being on November 7. The minutes follow the agenda outline and draws from access to the Zoom meeting recording. The Secretary would send the minutes as a .doc within 10 days, whenever possible, to the President for review and presentation at the next meeting. You can go to www.friendsofspypondpark.org to view previous minutes and get an idea of the format submitted by previous Secretaries for our organization. At least a year's commitment is required for anyone to assuming this responsibility.
This volunteer opportunity would give the person assuming this role a chance to participate in planning the steps towards achieving the Friends of Spy Pond Park's major mission of helping to maintain and keep Spy Pond Park beautiful and providing fun activities there. Please consider joining this great environmental community.

FSSP supports the
Ongoing protection and beautification of the park
Preservation of open green space and wild life
Prevention and reduction of pond pollution
Use of the park as a community and cultural resource
There are volunteer opportunities on Work Days 1/mo. and Fun Days usually once a year posted on our website. The park is located between Pond Lane and Linwood Street in East Arlington, MA
