: We are looking for docents for our spring exhibit April-June 2017 "Inside Out/Upside Down: Furniture From a Different Perspective" which will take place at the Beall-Dawson Museum in Rockville. For people interested in antique/period furniture and the History of Montgomery County this is a perfect opportunity to learn and teach others! Work and train with Curators and Professionals in the antique furniture field.
We will train. After this exhibit we will have others! Docent will work with gift shop as well as processing sales and recording admissions. Sales experience encouraged not required.

Description
The Montgomery County Historical Society (MCHS) strives to highlight the role of history as a vital part of the cultural and social fabric of Montgomery County. Montgomery County has experienced significant growth in the past sixty five years and the Montgomery County Historical Society has grown as well. Since its founding in 1944, MCHS has moved from an all volunteer organization to one boasting over 1,400 members, a professional staff and hundreds of supportive and dedicated volunteers.
