Do you like art and playable spaces? Do you enjoy talking to the public? Join the Greenway Park Ambassador program for a fun season engaging with our visitors by discussing and gathering perspectives about our contemporary public art program, facilitating play, and leading tours for curious park-goers. This is a dynamic position that provides opportunities to create enriching experiences for adults, families, and kids alike. Park Ambassadors help make The Greenway a favorite place to gather, play, unwind and explore in the heart of Boston.

Recruitment for the 2019 season is now open and interviews will start in March, with rolling admissions into the spring. Training sessions will begin in late spring and early summer. To apply, please submit a Park Ambassador application.

Mission Statement

The Rose Kennedy Greenway is a premiere contemporary urban park that connects people and the city of Boston by providing beauty, fun, and a sense of community in the heart of downtown. The Conservancy is the designated steward of the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

Description

The Greenway is 1.5 mile long 15 acre contemporary park in the heart of Boston. The Greenway serves as the roof of the Central Artery tunnel that was the result of the Big Dig Project which has fundamentally transformed downtown Boston.

The Greenway Conservancy maintains and operates the Greenway through an agreement with the State of Masschusetts, which owns the Greenway and the tunnel beneath it.

We maintain the landscape organically, host hundreds of events and programs each year and welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors, residents and workers 365 days a year!
