Looking for a fun and rewarding weekend group volunteer opportunity that you can do with a few friends? Sign up to serve a Cooks for Kids meal at the Ronald McDonald Family Room inside Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul (near the capital) or Children's Hospital, St. Paul.

Cooks for Kids (CFK) plan, purchase, and prepare a buffet-style meal for the families utilizing these warm and cozy spaces inside each hospital. We especially need folks to prepare and serve weekend brunch - so if you have a few hours free on Saturday or Sunday morning, consider this enjoyable - and rewarding - volunteer opportunity. Both locations can accommodate 2-5 volunteers, and from start to finish, this opportunity will only take up 3 - 3.5 hours of your day. The menu can be as simple (bagels, anyone?) or complex as you wish - the act of caring for families facing a child's serious illness or injury is more important than the food itself.

Visit the CFK section of our website, https://rmhtwincities.org/volunteer/CFK to view each location's CFK calendar and other helpful information. Or, contact Marc Seymour, Director of Volunteers at mseymour@rmhtwincities.org or 612-767-2790.
