Are you a Kinesiology or Nutrition major? Are you looking to earn some volunteer hours for a service-learning project or beef up your resume? Look no further. Good Sam has openings for students to walk with our seniors as they embark on their second Weight Loss Challenge.

Shifts are recurring on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

If interested, submit an application by going to www.goodsamtx.org/get-involved. Once submitted, the volunteer coordinator will contact you shortly.

Since 1951, Good Samaritan Community Services (GSCS) has provided much needed assistance to people living in the neighborhoods of San Antonio's near west side.

GSCS offers extensive social service programs that address the overall needs of children, youth, and families living in this community. GSCS's commitment to improving the quality of life in this area of town is embodied in its mission, changing lives through excellent community services.

GSCS locations include: San Antonio West Side, San Antonio NE Side, Brownsville. Pharr, Sonora, Wimberley
