We are currently accepting applications for a Volunteer Ballet Dance Teacher and Teaching Assistants for our School year Program.
This Ballet Class meets twice a week:
Tuesdays & Fridays 4 :30pm-6:00pm
This teaching opportunity has an immediate start date & requires a full semester commitment, February 3rd through June June 16th. During the semester, you will prepare your students for the Spring Dance Recital taking place on June 17, 20017 at the United Palace Theatre. There are also other opportunities to perform at community events.
At Groove With Me, we strive to provide an opportunity for girls to try something new, make new friends, and develop their self-confidence through dance. We create friendships that last a lifetime, girls who are strong in both body and in spirit, and skills that the girls can use both in and out of the studio.

Groove With Me is a youth development organization that uses free dance classes and performance opportunities to attract and engage girls in an effort to build their self confidence, enhance their leadership skills, and develop a cooperative spirit.
Description
Groove With Me opened a dance studio in Spanish Harlem in January, 2001 after 5 years in borrowed spaces. We offer 36 dance classes every week in hip hop, tap, ballet, Afro-Caribbean, modern, nia, jazz and more to girls aged 4-18.
