Mission Statement

Groove With Me is a youth development organization that uses free dance classes and performance opportunities to attract and engage girls in an effort to build their self confidence, enhance their leadership skills, and develop a cooperative spirit.

Description

Groove With Me opened a dance studio in Spanish Harlem in January, 2001 after 5 years in borrowed spaces. We offer 36 dance classes every week in hip hop, tap, ballet, Afro-Caribbean, modern, nia, jazz and more to girls aged 4-18.

I "myself" have history with this organization,my daughter attended and they do amazing work and I just want to get back to the community.
