This could be you!

If you love the snow and you are looking for a way to give back to your community, then you are the perfect candidate to become a Snow Buddy this winter!

The Snow Buddy program is a part of the Safety of Seniors Handyman Program, which seeks to improve the quality of life for senior citizens by providing assessment, repair and referral services that extend the period of time during which seniors can remain safe and independent in their homes. Many of our clients are in need of assistance with snow removal in the winter months as they may be unable to do so themselves or shoveling snow may pose a serious risk to their health.

The Snow Buddy Program at Volunteers of America works hard to pair active volunteers with a senior in their neighborhood. The volunteers commit to shoveling their Snow Buddy's walkway each time there are 2+ inches of snowfall. We hope you will be able to join us in keeping the seniors of our community safe this winter!

In order to apply please contact Molly Barfuss, the Program Coordinator, via Phone: 303-297-0408 (Ext.13130) or Email: mbarfuss@voacolorado.org and mention that you saw the post on VolunteerMatch.
