Join ILACSD for our Zero Waste 101: Organics workshop on Saturday, March 25th at Ocean Knoll Farm. Learn how to keep organics out of the landfill by shopping smart, storing food properly, and composting your scraps. We’ll also cover water conservation tools, such as ocean friendly gardens and laundry-to-landscape systems.
Activities include making seed bombs and a kids’ craft corner. Participate in the Swap 'n Shop by bringing any gently used items to exchange for another’s goods. Stick around for an opportunity drawing for great prizes.

Description
I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD) is a widely recognized non-profit, environmental education organization committed to conservation and waste reduction. ILACSD operates a Recycling & Household Hazardous Waste Call Center, holds workshops, and provides community outreach and presentations throughout San Diego County. ILACSD has built strong partnerships with community members and local and state governments in order to enhance environmental education and awareness in San Diego. ILACSD provides pollution prevention programs and hosts other educational activities in order to create a safer environmental climate. Volunteer projects include community cleanups and storm drain stenciling.
