The Sloth Institute Costa Rica is looking for a virtual, experienced web site designer to revamp our website. Working with the co-founders, this person would help design, manage and implement the changes and new content over the course of this spring.
The Sloth Institute Costa Rica, (TSI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of sloths and is run by a team of volunteers from around the world.
The Sloth Institute (TSI)’s vision is to expand scientific knowledge and education about the sloth to enhance their well-being and assure their conservation here and on this planet.
The Sloth Institute’s 3 part mission:
1) RESEARCH of captive and wild sloths.
2) COLLABORATION with other institutions that work with sloths around the world.
3) EDUCATION to generate and disseminate responsible and balanced information about sloths to the public.
The ideal candidate has experience creating and managing the creation of websites for non-profits (using Wordpress), has a love for wildlife, is a self-starter and can spend 12-15 hours a week for a period of 12-15 weeks to complete the project. We would be depending on your expertise! Great opportunity to give back and add to your portfolio.
