Community volunteers needed to present to 6th, 7th & 8th grade students during Junior Achievement's Career Day at Rooftop Middle. Minimum volunteer commitment is making one, 30-minute presentation to a class of up to 35 students.
Class periods range throughout the day between 8am-12:30pm.
A one hour training is provided by JA staff prior to your first classroom visit. All needed materials, including a detailed lesson plan, will be provided at the time of training. We ask that volunteers speak to students about own career journey and the education, skills, and resources needed to achieve success in that field.
No teaching background required! College students to retirees are welcome, as well as groups of volunteers.
We are looking to fill immediately for this exciting, one-day opportunity.
