Companions Journeying Together, Inc

  • 103 people are interested

The Aunt Mary's Storybook project assists participating incarcerated parents and grandparents in choosing an age-appropriate books for each one of their children. Each of the participants are then given an opportunity to record him or herself reading the books for their children, along with a personal message they can record for their children. On behalf of the parent, we then send the books and recording to the child.

We are looking for a few people located in or near the Joliet to help enter donated and purchased books in to our online inventory database. Very easy data entry! Training on our inventory database will be provided. Volunteers must be comfortable with using a computer and internet, and must have access to a printer.

This volunteering can be completed from home, although we will need to meet occasionally in Joliet to provide you with the necessary supplies and books.

Please contact us if you are interested.
