ORGANIZATION: SAY San Diego

Purpose/Objective:

To provide compliance and quality assurance checks to client case files in the Community Assessment and Alternatives to Detention program.

Location:

Kearny Mesa Office

Start Date - End Date:

As early as mid-Jan. 2017 for 2-4 months or one semester (can volunteer for longer if available).

Number of Volunteers:

1-2

Key Responsibilities:

~ Conduct monthly case file reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.
~ Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.

~ File appropriate compliance reports

~ Maintain documentation of compliance activities
~ Monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness.
~ Verify that all policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.

Qualifications:

~Must be at least 18 years old

~Must be cleared through TB test, drug test, background check

~May be asked to provide references

~Must have reliable transportation

Time Commitment:

5-10 hours per week between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday

Flexible Schedule

Training and Support:

Volunteer will be trained on what to look for and how to complete the Case File Audit Form.
