Bike MS is one of the annual flagship fundraising events put on by the National MS Society in Greater Illinois.
Bike MS: Tour de Farms is held in DeKalb with NIU acting as our homebase, and will be taking place the weekend of June 9-11.
Why do we need motorcyclist?
We are looking for seasoned motorcylist to lend a helping hand for a great cause. Come and join our Motorcycle Safety Crew (MSC). This pretigous group of volunteers are integral to our event. As part of MSC you may be stationed at a intersection and/or ride along with the cyclist to ensure their safety throughout the ride. All members of the crew, work closely together and will be in radio communication (provided by the MS Society) with our Lead MSC Member, our Safety & Gear drivers, Rest Stops, and Net Control.
What is required?
- Motorcycle License
- Participation in safety training & courses
- DMV driving history check
- Proof of insurance
