ORGANIZATION: Waukesha County Health & Human Services

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 25 people are interested

Waukesha County is building a team of volunteers to help assist with behind-the-scenes administration in times of emergency. Emergencies may include a missing child, a natural disaster, or more. Volunteer responsibilities could consist of registration, interviewing, shift assignment, phone bank, and more. We'll train you for all of them!

Volunteers will be working at our Volunteer Reception Center (VRC), which administratively organizes spontaneous volunteers in emergencies. The VRC is activated as needed when a disaster arises. We'll contact you to ask for your assistance at the VRC. Shift lengths will vary depending on the disaster or emergency. The VRC's location will also depend on these factors but will be in Waukesha County.
All those interested should contact us for more information and to sign up for one of our trainings. All interested volunteers should register in advance.
