The LA Historic Theatre Foundation does regualr in-depth educational tours of historic movie palaces thorighout the year. Our tours, called ALL ABOUTS, have a large staff or trained docents who really know the theatres. The best way to become a docent is to start as a Tour Gudie Assistant, we call them Wranglers. You will work alongside an experienced Docent, learn techniques and explore these amazing theatres at teh same time! Join us for one event and you wil be hooked!
We will provide online and in person training for all first time volunteers.
Dates are set in advance, you will be added to our mailing list for volunteers, and will be notified first.

Description
Founded in 1987 by the creators of the LA Conservancy's first Last Remaining Seats series and officially registered by the State of California in 1988, the Los Angeles Historic Theatre Foundation is chartered to address the complex challenges of theatre preservation - including ownership, management, programming, preservation, education and advocacy.
