If you love being outdoors and want to help your community in a fun and healthy way, join Friends of Trees as we plant trees and shrubs at a popular spot in Memorial Park!
This is the second of three planting events to improve habitat for pollinators at this site.

Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. Look for Friends of Trees signs to help guide you. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun!

These plantings are all part of the Bee Stewards Wilsonville project in partnership with the City of Wilsonville; Northwest Center for Alternatives to Pesticides; The West Linn Wilsonville School District, Center for Research in Environmental Sciences and Technology; Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation; Northwest Youth Corps; Habitat Landscape Design; Oregon State University North Willamette Research and Extension among others. This project is supported by Metro and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
