THIS IS A REMOTE OPPORTUNITY!!
Hello!
We are looking for 1 energetic and outgoing individual to assist us with managing our volunteer program. Quite a bit of the work can be done remotely and around your schedule, when in the office.
Our organization is growing and the number of volunteers we have is rapidly expanding too. We are looking to bring on board with our staff, a person, or who can help manage our volunteer programs.
You'll assist us with:
- Responding to volunteer emails
- Creating volunteer opportunities on our listing sites
- Conduct initial interviews for new prospect volunteers
- Review and match volunteers to open opportunities
- Create a quarterly newsletter for volunteers
- Assist with orientations and training materials
In a week, we generally receive 1 inquiry or volunteer application that comes in, so the majority of your work will be matching current volunteers to open opportunities and leading volunteer orientation classes 3-4 times a year.
We are looking for someone with good computer skills, who is comfortable using MS office products, a friendly phone demeanor, and great email etiquette.
We are a small office but a team that likes to have fun, works well together and can't wait to have you join us.
There is a small stipend available for this person.
