OUR VISION
To intervene for the residents of the Tenderloin through building relationships with them, by showing them the Love of Jesus; to focus and direct the residents to SFCI and its activities.
We gather from 2-5pm every 2nd &4th Sundays at 144 Taylor St., San Francisco, CA 94102.
WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
1. Gather
Gather with us at 144 Taylor St at 2pm on Sundays. You'll break out into teams and walk to the nearby apartment buildings to deliver food and connect with the residents.
2. Invite People
Invite friends and local church members to serve alongside and partner with City Impact to adopt a building in the inner city of San Francisco.
DETAILS
Since some of the main problems for residents are isolation & loneliness, our goal is to visit residents in SROs (Single Resident Occupancy) buildings, focusing on having conversations with them in order to build relationships. In ministering to them in this way & bringing them food, they see the love of God through us. AAB runs every 2nd and 4th Sunday, starting at 2pm.

About San Francisco City Impact
Location:
230 JONES ST, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94102, US
Mission Statement
San Francisco City Impact’s mission is to intervene on behalf of the people of the Tenderloin which we do by serving the immediate needs of the community in these areas: Poverty, Hunger, Inner-City Children, and Community Outreach.
Description
Serving over 100,000 people annually, City Impact has provided relief programs for the Tenderloin District since 1984 - including feeding, health care, and social services. Our founder started serving the Tenderloin in response to seeing a young boy being bullied in this neighborhood. What was initially a Saturday youth program has grown into what is now City Impact. We serve as a lifeline for this community where there are very high rates of homelessness, food insecurity, poverty, addiction, and mental health issues.
We are a Christian organization that works with volunteers of many religious backgrounds and we believe that one person can make all the difference in the life of a person in need.
