Mission Statement

The mission of MADD is to stop drunk driving, fight drugged driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking.

Description

We need your help to save lives in Tennessee. In 2015, there were 8,278 impaired* driving crashes on our Tennessee roadways. Those crashes led to 5,764 injuries and 375 deaths. All of these crashes are 100% preventable. *drunk, drugged or both

Our TN Advisory board and volunteer committees are key components of our stragety. We are looking for talented volunteers to join our committess to brainstorm, plan, execute ideas and achieve MADD's goals and advance our outreach across Tennesseee.

Please consider serving on one of our committees such as Victim Services, Program, Legislation, Fundraising and Law Enforcement.

Hands-on volunteers are also needed to serve in specific programs and fundraising capacities in areas such as Underage Drinking Prevention, Victim Impact Panel Speakers & Facilitators, Court Monitoring, and Walk Like MADD- our annual fundraiser.

  • Flexible from a few times a week to once a month
  • Must be able to attend court for up to 4 hours at a time, Monday through Friday from 9:00am-1:00 pm.
