BINA Farm Center (BFC) brings together individuals with and without special needs by offering a variety of inclusive enrichment programs that help them to both thrive personally and make their best contribution towards the communities in which they live. BFC provides a comprehensive therapeutic and recreational enviroment utilizing Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies, Vocational Training Programs and Creative and Complementary Therapies for children and adults with physical, developmental and emotional challenges.

Barn Help

Looking for experienced and reliable volunteers with strong horse care knowledge. Duties include, but are not limited to, mucking stalls, turn in/out, watering/feeding and general barn and facility maintenance. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Shifts available are 6:45 - 11:45 a.m. and 2:45 - 4:45 p.m. Monday - Sunday.

Riding Volunteers

Looking for reliable volunteers for volunteering with therapeutic riding lessons. Duties include helping getting horses ready before lessons; grooming, tacking up and possibly warming up the horse, assisting with games during the lesson, sidewalking to help keep the rider safe and helping to create an environment where the child feels included, important and successful. Volunteers must be able to commit to the same day and time each week for the 8-10 week session. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older.
