ONGOING ASSISTANCE is needed to help library staff with such tasks as alphabetizing, organizing, sorting and returning items to the shelves. Applications are available at the Northwest Branch at Scotts Crossing or on our website (www.afpls.org; Support, Volunteer). We are seeking volunteers who can serve a two hour shift once a week between Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

The mission of the Fulton County Library System is to serve as a cultural and intellectual center that enriches the community and empowers all residents with essential tools for lifelong learning.
Description
The Fulton County Library System is the largest library system in the state of Georgia. Volunteers serve at all 34 locations. The System provides a variety of literacy and community information services and programs for citizens in and around the Metropolitan Atlanta area. These services include, but are not limited to: providing audio, visual and print media for check-out by registered patrons; providing programming that reflects the diverse interests of area residents and visitors, and providing meeting areas for community discussion and interaction.
