Habitat LA would not be able to do the work we do without the support of amazing volunteers like yourself! We have a special opportunity for you to work behind the scenes at Habitat LA!
The focus for our Programs Department for the following week is:
Review homeowner files for demographic data and input into excel sheet; historical data going back 10+ years and covering over 500 households
*We do ask that you are comfortable reviewing personal information and are familiar with excel

Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Description
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization dedicated to building simple, decent housing in partnership with families in need. Habitat assists very low-income working families who do not qualify for conventional home loans. With the help of volunteer labor and donations from service organizations, faith groups, corporations and individuals, Habitat is able to sell the homes to our partner families at no profit and zero-interest financing. Monthly mortgage payments go into the Revolving Fund for Humanity, which helps build homes for more families. Partner families must also invest 500 hours of sweat equity to help build their own homes as well as the homes of their future neighbors. In this way, Habitat offers a hand up, not a hand out.
Volunteers are the heart of Habitat for Humanity. We depend on individuals and groups to help us achieve our goal of eliminating poverty housing and making decent, affordable homes a reality for all families. Homeowner families have seen their lives transformed, becoming stronger members of society and making a difference in the community.
