At Heartland, we consider our involvement with patients and families to be both a sacred opportunity and a privilege. We depend on our hospice volunteers to share their skills and interests in a way that enriches the quality of life for those we serve.
Become a friendly visitor to sit with terminally ill patients and their families and share in their stories. Help decrease the patients isolation and make them feel as if they are part of the community. Be a friend to someone in need.

Ongoing training is provided. Background checks are required. Must be 18+ and able to provide own transportation.

Description
Heartland Hospice is recruiting for volunteers to provide friendly visits and caregiver relief/respite sitting for terminally ill patients and their families. We have many ways for volunteers to engage and change the lives of our patients. If you have the heart for it, we welcome your willingness to serve.
