Do you enjoy local history and photographs?
The Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas is recruiting for a volunteer to work with the photography collection, which consists of over 1.5 million prints, negatives and film.
A volunteer is needed to help order, number, preserve and undertake initial research as to the history of the photographs.
No computer skills are required.
This volunteer position is ideal for current history or museum studies students, or for someone with an interest in local history and an exceptional attention to detail.
Schedule is very flexible.

Description
Located in the Springs Preserve, a 180-acre campus of trails, gardens, and exhibits, the Nevada State Museum offers a fascinating look at Nevada's history and natural history. In addition to exhibit galleries, the Museum has a research library that focuses on southern Nevada history, an education lab, meeting rooms, and spacious banquet facilities.
