The mission of the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas is to inspire and educate a diverse public about the history and natural history of Nevada. To fulfill that mission, we collect, preserve, exhibit, and disseminate material that contributes to an understanding and appreciation of the state.
Located in the Springs Preserve, a 180-acre campus of trails, gardens, and exhibits, the Nevada State Museum offers a fascinating look at Nevada's history and natural history. In addition to exhibit galleries, the Museum has a research library that focuses on southern Nevada history, an education lab, meeting rooms, and spacious banquet facilities.
