Paws In Need has a fairly new program called Community and we need someone to coordinate it in order to expand the assistance we provide community animals.
This Community Program targets companion pets who are in need of veterinary care owned by low/no income families.
Animals are often the only thing that provides these people joy in their life and gives them a purpose for living. The constant companionship that an animal gives has proven to be so therapeutic.
Talking to senior centers, Open Heart Kitchen and places that feed the homeless would be a place to reach this target audience and let them know that financial assistance for their animals' medical care is available so the animal doesn't have to needlessly suffer.

We provide assistance and support for spay/neuter surgeries that prevent overpopulation.
