Tuesday and Wednesday (12/5 and 12/6) we're installing fencing for an exciting pilot project on an Los Angeles County beach and need your help.
Gloves and tools will be provided. Bring water, snacks, and sunscreen. Please wear closed-toed shoes since we'll be working with fencing supplies and heavy-ish tools.
The goal of the project is to allow the beach to evolve naturally and grow vegetation on a two to three acres site. If adopted regionally, this approach could mitigate against sea-level rise.
Park in the Annenberg Beach House parking lot. Parking is $8 per day. More info: https://www.annenbergbeachhouse.com/visit-us/getting-here-and-parking.aspx
