This is a volunteer opportunity for Pet Therapy Volunteers that want to make a positive impact in our community. It’s well-known that interaction with a gentle, friendly pet has significant benefits. Pet Therapy Volunteer s provides companionship to the patient. Volunteers can visit patients in their homes and long-term care facilities. Dogs must be certified and the appropriate documentation is required.
Things to know before you apply:

* Completion of an interview and service placement meeting
* Completion of a fingerprint background check (scheduled and covered by Cornerstone Hospice)
