Seniors Enjoying L.A. Kitchen Lunch

Seeking Spanish bilingual volunteers to engage with seniors about nutrition at senior centers.

Ambassadors will engage seniors in vibrant meal-focused conversations about the quality and nutritional value of the meals we serve at senior centers throughout Los Angeles.

Ambassadors will foster individual and community empowerment through meaningful relationship-building and social interactions with senior diners that promote healthy aging, education, and awareness at various senior centers supported by L.A. Kitchen's Strong Food Program. Through intergenerational dialogue, Ambassadors will engage seniors in food and nutrition while collecting valuable feedback about L.A. Kitchen meals.

If you enjoy conversations about food and sharing the value of senior nutrition & healthy eating habits, please contact us.

Training will be held the second Tuesday of every month at L.A. Kitchen. Time is tbd.

We’d like a regular weekly commitment volunteer schedule of at least 1 day/week if not 2 days/week. Shifts are 1.5 - 2 hours.
