Santa will not arrive in a sleigh, he will arrive in an SDPD Helicopter and land INSIDE the Park!

Elves Workshop!

Food Vendors and Local gift items for sale!

Raffle! Face Painting! Car Exhibits! FREE ASTRO JUMPS FOR KIDS!

This is a really important yearly event to the local commnity and thousands of people always show up, we need help with set-up from 8a.m.-10a.m., running crafts and games and organizing lines for the astro jumps, sled hills, etc. from 10a.m.-3p.m. and help breaking down the event from 3p.m.-5p.m. Feel free to sign up for just one shift or to stay all day, time commitment is up to you but we'd love to have you regardless of your schedule!

Description

San Diego's Park and Recreation Department is responsible for overseeing nearly 40,000 acres of developed and undeveloped open space, more than 340 parks including Balboa Park, Mission Trails Regional Park, and Mission Bay Park; 25 miles of shoreline from Sunset Cliffs to La Jolla; 13 pools; 3 public golf complexes; 56 recreation centers and more. Park and recreation professionals and volunteers host hundreds of community events each year and provide safe places for thousands of children to go after school. City employees and volunteers take great pride to enrich the lives of others through quality parks and programs, designed and developed so that people of all ages, abilities and income levels have the chance to participate in excellent recreational opportunities.
