Importance of Position: To assist in an 8 week long coding club for middle schoolers in February/March 2017.
Qualifications:
- Patience
- Good oral communication skills
- Friendly, relaxed, and out-going demeanor
- At ease with children aged 10-14
- Willing and able to follow directions
- Skill in basic computer use
Work environment:
- Berkeley Public Library Electronic Classroom
Responsible To:
- Children’s Librarian
Responsibilities:
- May assist staff in teaching computer skills
- Provides individual assistance to children
Training Provided:
- Training provided as needed

Time Commitment: Wednesdays 3:30 - 5:00 pm in February/March 2017
Length of Time: Minimum 2 month commitment

Failure to follow directions and adhere to library policies and procedures; unacceptable customer service; failure to fulfill time commitment
