Saving Sunny is so excited to announce our 3rd annual Picture Your Pets With Santa event, in partnership with the Kentucky Humane Society! For the 31st year running, KHS will host professional pet portraits with Santa at all 17 Feeder's Supply locations for 2 weekends in December. We're seeking volunteers to staff the Feeders Supply in Shepherdsville, at which all proceeds will benefit Saving Sunny.
Photos will be offered in various packages, starting at only $12. Gift items featuring the pet’s photo, including ornaments, mugs and key chains will also be available, starting at $14. How cute!
Saturday Dec. 8th
9 am - 1pm or 1 - 4:15 pm
Sunday Dec. 9th
10 a.m. - 1 p.m. or 1 - 4:30 p.m.

Mission Statement
Saving Sunny works to reduce the flow of dogs into the shelter system by providing education, resources, and advocacy for people and their pets regardless of socioeconomic status, race, gender, age, sexual orientation, age, or ability.
Description
Saving Sunny was founded in 2010 as a rescue + foster organization. Now, we assist pet owners with the ability to keep their dogs from ever entering the shelter system in the first place, through basic resources, advocacy, and education.
We have found that surrendering a dog to an animal shelter is often a last resort for loving families who may be living in a historically disenfranchised community and be struggling to find resources + assistance to care for their pets. Our Community Dog Resource Center, founded in 2014, is designed to lessen the flow of dogs into the municipal shelter by giving a helping hand to those in need. We believe that everyone is deserving of the companionship of a pet. Saving Sunny also continues to rescue dogs on a small scale, offers support to our municipal shelters through our CDRC, behavior, and courtesy posting programs, and provides education and advocacy through public events and campaigns.
