Supervisor Name & Title: Dani Gehm, Marketing & Communications Specialist

Purpose: Help us tell our story! We are looking for someone to work on a flexible project based schedule. Proposed Project: With the interview and b-roll footage provided, edit a ~3 minute long video for our AKA Science ("All Kids Are Scientists") program. AKA Science is a fun, engaging after-school program to get kids excited about science. The video will be targeted to education professionals in Portland metro area schools who are interested in having AKA Science at their schools, and should engage viewers in learning more about how to get involved. Responsibilities:

  • With the footage provided

  • Provide drafts & final version of the video to Marketing Specialist & other involved staff

Qualifications:

  • Must provide computer with video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)

  • Experience with video editing software

  • Passion for storytelling through video

Minimum age: 18

Benefits of Position to Volunteer:

Commitment/Duration: Flexible, project based

Schedule (Days of the week and times): Flexible. Volunteer to work remotely. Volunteer Site Address: Remote/off-site. 3-4 meetings at Dancing Tree ( 10055 E Burnside St, Portland, OR 97216) OR Sandy (1785 NE Sandy Blvd. Suite #200, Portland, OR 97232) .
