A Free Bird is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization based in New York City. Our focus is to provide children, ages 4-18 who are patients or survivors of juvenile cancer, the opportunity to explore their artistic passions and give them the strength to fight their disease. We believe that artistic expression is critical for healing! A Free Bird supports children affected by cancer in their exploration of art, music, acting, poetry, writing, singing and any other artistic passion they may have.

A Free Bird Organization is seeking 20 to 30 enthusiastic and hard working volunteers for a MAJOR event on December 21st! Groups are highly encouraged to apply.

Job description:

There will be various volunteer positions available! Setup, Clean Up, During the event, helping out with passing out flyers, Auction, Raffle, Greeting people, etc.

Requirements:

Must be able to work the day of the event!!

Volunteers needed from 9AM-11PM but have two time slots available.

9AM-3PM and 3PM to 11PM. If these times do not work, still email us and we could make something work! Probably before 11pm we will be done, maybe around 10pm.

Qualifications:

Great verbal Communication and Organization Skills is a MUST-Hard Working-Be Fun-Enthusiastic, Responsible-Detail Oriented-Love to Volunteer-Able to lend a helping hand at anything.
