  • Pleasant, helpful personality, ability to provide verbal directions to assist in the Health Department's Specialty Care Clinic in Bartow.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Greeter staff will assist incoming clients to direct them where to go for clinic services such as Specialty Care Clinic, Immunization services, Hepatitis Prevention.
  • When clients come in they may need assistance where they need to go.
  • Assist with answering phones and perform other light clerical tasks such as copying, making reminder phone calls.
  • Training is provided and staff are available for support.
  • This is a great way for job seekers to gain additional skills and/or experience for their resumes.
  • Must be able to pass a FDLE background screen and drug screen. Volunteers in the clinic, just like our paid staff, are required to be innoculated for flu, Hepititis and Tdap. Both, the innoculations, the drug screen and the background screen are provided at no cost to the volunteer.
DAYS & TIME: Flexible - Clinic is open M-F from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Choose day(s) and hours that you are available. Prefer a minimum of 4 hours of service per visit, if possible.
Have a clear sense of satisfaction in knowing that you have helped clients obtain the medical or health services they need.
