This stipend eligible position is for the January-May 2017 time frame. Supporting communication and marketing staff in the process and tool development, planning, marketing, logistics and execution of organization and community based events. This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing and Strategy and the Communications Manager.

Responsibilities: 

  • Brochure development/creation; includes content development 
  • Web and brochure content alignment 
  • Expansion/creation of Communication Tools on SharePoint 
  • Word Press related tasks such as updating the website and form development 
  • Event management assistance and logistical coordination 
  • Photo archiving; permission obtainment and tracking 
  • Media list/PR contact creation/updates 
  • Graphic design projects as needed - may include development of fliers, fact sheets and other marketing pieces 
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns 
  • Other duties as requested

Time Commitment:
  • A marketing and event planning focused position for the spring 2017 semester. Must be available 10-12 hours per week. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm with some flexibility to complete projects at other times. An exit interview will also be conducted to gauge intern experience and to make recommendations for improvement.
