There are elderly in your neighborhood who do not have friends and family they can call on to help get them to the doctor or the grocery store. Our program is unique in that all services provided are free of cost to the individual, with no membership fees or obligations.
Volunteer Services (VS) connects community members to their neighbors to provide personalized volunteer transportation services to low income older adults who can no longer drive, whose health and mobility limitations prevent them from using public/community transportation.
Join our core of Volunteer Drivers! You can pick rides that work with your schedule. VS offers mileage reimbursement, volunteer insurance, opportunities to gather with other volunteers for additional training and socializing, and great support from program staff.
Please note: Following the guidelines of King County Public Health during COVID-19, volunteer opportunities may be subject to change.
