ORGANIZATION: The Link

The Link supports nearly 3,000 youth and young families each year across the Twin Cities metro through programs targeting homelessness, poverty, juvenile justice and sexual exploitation. To find out more check us out on our website at www.thelinkmn.org

We are looking to engage a dedicated group of volunteers to serve on our Annual Event Committee to help with the logisitics, planning, and execution of this celebration event.

The Link works with youth and families to overcome the impacts of poverty and social injustice.

Description

The Link is a non-profit started in 1991 by Vikings Jim Marshall and Oscar Reed. The Link is a youth services provider offering services through 3 divisions: Housing and Homeless Services, Juvenile Justice, and Safe Harbor. Throughout those divisions, The Link serves over 3,300 youth and young families a year in the 7 metro counties. Services provided to youth include housing support, case management and stabilization, education support, community outreach, and more.
