Aegis Hospice is currently seeking music therapy volunteers or musically inclined volunteers!

Whether you are a certified music therapist or have musical talents with instruments or singing, we would love to have you as a volunteer!

We have volunteer opportunities all over the Phoenix metro area!

At Aegis Hospice, we are committed first to care of our patients and the well being of their families. With that belief at the core of everything we do, we know that it can only be achieved through the strength of the team we build.

As a volunteer, you would visit with and perform for hospice patients. Patients love having volunteers who sing or play instruments! Volunteers make visits once per week or twice per month.

To volunteer for Aegis Homecare and Hospice, you must be at least 18 years old. A background check is required, along with a current negative TB screening. A current CPR and First Aid certification is also needed.

Training will be included prior to volunteer placement. Our training prepares all volunteers for the challenges of working with patients and their caregivers and families. Topics include listening skills, grief and loss, the medical aspects of end-of-life, and the psychosocial and spiritual aspects of care.

To become a volunteer, please email your information and our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you as soon as possible.

Begin a profoundly fulfilling chapter in your life with Aegis Hospice!
